Windows 8 Installs, Reinstalls and Help
This will be the standard (Entry) edition of Windows 8 that most people will use. It seems Microsoft will be making a return to a similar setup as XP with fewer versions. It will be available in 32 bit and 64 bit editions for X86 processors. With this version you will be able to upgrade from Windows 7 Starter, 7 Home Basic and 7 Home Premium.

There will be no home editions of Windows 8. Notable things missing from this edition will be BitLocker and BitLocker To Go, Boot from VHD, Client HyperV, Domain Join, Encrypting File System, Domain Join, Group Policy (Host) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote).
